You probably know by now that the Mormons and JW's were funded and founded by the same Rothschild/Illuminati money. If there's any mind-control cult more dangerous than the Watchtower I think its the Mormons.

If you've been to one Fast and Testimony meeting that's more than I ever have! (thank goodness) This Wikipedia article mentions a little about the meetings. From what it says it seems like the LDS leadership wants them to be more in the style of JW meetings, boring.

oh, i'm a pioneer and jehovah gave me $10 for gas

there was a thread here a while back on the bogus experiences at the assemblies about how jehovah stepped in just when a pioneer has $0, and oh, boy, were we blessed.......yet whenver bad things happen, even when praying for help, like someone gets killed, the 'we put in 75 hours of service and jehovah fed us' theory turns idiotic..
anyone remember that thread...or wanna give me some word power over those pathetic experiences....just got one via email from a relative and really want to throw back a doozy to make him think..

i am a salesman and in one of my customers premises i noticed a watchtower and awake in the bin!.
i asked a few questions and found out that a young lad that works there gets a visit from a 'nice little old lady' who has a chat and leaves the mags.

its influencing everything in this world every and anywhere.
from the saudies, to the people in irag, iran and anywhere else our sons will need to be sent.. our current president claims he is influenced along with the former prime minister of england by religious beliefs.. there is the huge evangelical influence that got bush and the mess he made who put them in to begin with.. we have the jw's causing absolute havic in anyone's lives connected with this stupidity.. it goes on and on and on.

The danger comes when the stories are taught as if they were the ultimate reality.
Of course the paradox here is the fact that the very nature of most every sort of movement (political, religious, social, economic, ect.) demands that it must raise itself above the rest as an absolute reality in order for its own survival. To do any less puts the movement in jeopardy.

Welcome to the board!
You have really been through the ringer.
You are not alone. Many people on this board have gone through similar things. Being in the JWs can be one crazy experience.
At this point you believe the teachings of the Watchtower, but are having problems reconciling that with the behavior of people in the group.
You really should think about this question. Is it really the "truth"? If it is not the truth, how will I figure out it's not?
I would suggest you read Crisis of Conscience by Raymond Franz. It's where many of us on this board started. From there we found out that many of the struggles where were suffering from came from places other than ourselves.
We are here to be of assistance to you. Ask questions, detailed questions. We can help you along the way.
